Queenscourt Hospice is an independent charity that provides support for the people of Southport, Formby and West Lancashire. We care for patients with serious illnesses, enabling them to achieve the best possible quality of life at each new stage. We help to do this both in the Hospice and at Home through our In-patient unit, Queenscourt Connect and Queenscourt at Home services.

We are holding a recruitment open morning at Boxtree Kitchen on:

Sunday 16th October from 10am to 1pm. Members of the Boxtree team will be there for you to have an informal chat with to gain more information about the various positions available.

Café Manager

Permanent, Full time

£17,952 to £18,838

The successful candidate will be confident, self-motivated and proactive with at least 2 years previous experience gained within a similar fast paced catering environment. It is essential to possess a real passion for creating good food to a high standard with quality sourced ingredients. This is an important role, working directly with the Café Management team. We are looking for an individual

who can hit the ground running and develop an excellent product and service in order to deliver Boxtree’s full potential.

Assistant Café Manager

Permanent, Full time

£15,467 to £16,763

The post holder will be confident, self-motivated and proactive with previous experience gained within a customer facing environment. Working with the Café Manager to create excellent food and service in order to deliver Boxtree Kitchen’s full potential, you will have at least 12 months previous experience in a customer facing role with some experience within a catering or coffee house environment.

Café Assistant

Permanent, Part time

£14,726 to £15,467

Working with the Manager and Assistant Manager to provide a welcoming, clean and friendly environment for customers. Previous experience in a customer facing role a must but doesn’t have to be within a catering setting as we will happily train and support you to thrive in this environment. Your role will be to serve customers, take orders, use an electronic till, clear tables and maintain excellent cleanliness.

Bank Café Assistant

as and when required

£7.53 per hour

Employees on an ‘as and when’ basis to cover holidays and during busy periods. You provide your availability against any hours which are available therefore covering hours which are mutually agreed. You’ll be working in a customer facing role so previous experience advantageous. You will be to provide a welcoming, clean and friendly environment for customers. Your role will be to serve customers, take orders, use an electronic till, clear tables and maintain excellent cleanliness.
