Job Title: Events & Hospitality
Reports To: Events & Hospitality Manager
Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Ensuring prompt and excellent guest service.
Ensuring that tables are set to the correct standards at all times.
Ensuring all facilities are well presented for match-days, events etc.
Taking orders (bar/outside catering/boardroom/corporate hospitality).
Knowledge of the menu and ability to identify dishes.
Serve food and beverage to the guest as per the course of order.
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for the bar, corporate, fans and boardroom patrons.
Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks.
Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
Plan and present bar menu.
Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
Performing cleaning tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor.
Knowledge/Experience/Technical Skills
Essential:
Excellent communication and personal presentation.
A real passion for the industry and a willingness to learn more about food and beverages.
A team player who is able to work within a small team.
Being able to work under pressure.
Excellent time keeping.
Attention to detail and can-do approach.
Waitress and bar experience.
Desirable:
Catering experience
