Residents around rural Burscough and Scarisbrick say they are hoping a vandal who throws bricks through windows of parked cars is caught soon.

Police are hoping to find more information to identify an unknown person or persons after a series of cars were bricked and seriously damaged by having bricks thrown through their window.

The latest incident has been reported on Moorside Lane in Burscough after a Mercedes has its windscreen smashed in with a brick.
