Is it a bird…. is it a plane…. no, it’s a dead whale!
HM Coastguard Southport were paged to investigate reports of a Whale washed up on the Southport beach this afternoon, Sunday 15 January 2017.
Once on scene it was apparent that the whale was deceased and the appropriate persons were informed.
The team were stood down and returned to station.
