Do you recognise this man?
British Transport Police (BTP) officers want to speak to him about an incident of indecent exposure directed at a woman who was travelling alone.
The incident occurred shortly after 4.45pm on Saturday, 26 September, on the 4.46pm Kirby to Liverpool Central train.
PC Rebecca Hinde, investigating, said: “A man boarded the service at Kirby and took a seat near to the victim. As the train went through a tunnel he exposed and touched himself while looking at his victim, before leaving the service at Sandhills.
“We believe the man in the image could have information that is vital to this investigation and urge him, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward to assist us with our enquiries.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 405040, or text 61016, quoting reference PSUB/B3 of 20/10/2015. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
