Parents have been alerted to concerns of children who are walking the town centre alone after reports of a male intimidating youngsters.
A man, described as Caucasian at around 5ft7 wearing a dark blue coat and sporting long brown dreadlocks, has been reported to have followed a young girl through the Stanley Street and Lord Street area of the town centre in an intimidating manner.
The male is reported to have shouted ‘I’m Charles Manson’ and asking for the girl’s name before she managed to find safety away from the male.
Parents have been warned to ensure their children are aware of the dangers of being alone and isolated in the town centre
