A bit and run shopper is being sought by kind hearted residents after they smashed into a parked car in a town centre supermarket.
A van driver backed into a parked car in Morrisons supermarket this afternoon but instead of stopping and leaving their details for insurance purposes, they chose to flee the scene.
Luckily quick thinking shoppers nearby managed to get photos of the van and its number plate and informed customer services.
The details have now been passed onto the victim who could now ask Merseyside Police to investigate further.
It’s thought the van only inflicted minor damage on the parked car.
