Hunt is on to find mystery Southport Samaritan

A Southport man is launching a desperate search to find a woman who helped his son in the town yesterday afternoon, Friday 23 August.

Andy Griffiths’ son was at the skatepark near Ocean Plaza on Friday afternoon when he injured himself and needed urgent medical first aid.

Luckily an unidentified woman who turned out to be an off duty nurse came to his rescue and provided vital help.

Andy said “I really want to find a nurse who attended to my son at the skatepark Friday afternoon, I didn’t get her name, I want to thank her for helping and waiting until the ambulance arrived.”
