Hunt to find £1million lottery winner in Southport

National Lottery players in Southport are being urged to check and double-check their tickets to see if they have the life-changing winning ticket .

Lottery chiefs issued an appeal this week to find the owner of the unclaimed prize which they say was bought somewhere in Southport for the Lotto draw on February 9 with the winning numbers 25, 27, 31, 36, 38, 47 and the bonus ball, 12.

Andy Carter from the National Lottery said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings, this amaz- ing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.

“We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket to check their old tickets again or look any- where a missing ticket could be hiding, so that this prize can turn someone into the newest member of the lottery millionaire club.”
