Hundreds of people are planning to attend a tribute to Southport biker James Huyton who sadly died in October.
James, aged 32, was riding a motorbike when he was involved in a collision with a black Mercedes car at the junction of Bispham Road and Wennington Road.
In a short tribute, his family said: “James Anthony Huyton, known locally as Jay or Ginge, was from Southport. He was a loving daddy, fiancé, son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all.”
Now a fundraiser will be held in his memory at the Ship and Anchor pub on Saturday 9th December.
Organisers said “Here at the Ship & Anchor we are hosting with permission from the family, a fundraising night for James Huyton, the motorcyclist who tragically lost his life.
”We are hoping to get the community involved and are asking any businesses in Southport if they could contribute?
Also anyone else who could donate a raffle prize or make a small donation to this cause. James has left behind a massive hole in his families life and his 3yr old Daughter Poppys life.
Anything at all would be greatly appreciated and anything can be left at the pub.”
