Furious residents near to KGV college say they haven’t been able to sleep all weekend after a security alarm kept going off.

The Scarisbrick New Road based college has had a security alarm constantly ringing since the early hours of Saturday morning and despite constant calls by nearby residents, nobody has been to deal with it.

Merseyside Police say there is nothing they can do and if people are annoyed, they should call environmental health officers to complain about the noise.
