Homeless people set up camp in dunes by the Marine Lake, Southport

28th December 2017

Homeless campers have set up at the most exclusive view of the marine lake. Overnight two tents were erected at the north shore of the Marine Lake near to the sand dunes.

The campers who have told concerned dog walkers they are in good health say they chose the spot despite the freezing cold and insist they will stay there until the authorities move them along.

Similar tents have been set up at Kew Roundabout in recent years.
