High hopes for Rotten Row as North West in Bloom judges visit

Today was the turn of parts of Southport for the judging of its Your Neighbourhood, part of the North West in Bloom.

The judges, Brian Whalley and Dave Bielawski, visited Rotten Row to carry out their assessment of the work carried out by Friends of Rotten Row.

The Judges were most impressed with the displays along the borders and the Volunteers themselves. They met and talked to several of the volunteers and, they, the Judges were impressed with their knowledge and friendliness.

The Chairman stated that they hoped to achieve a Level 5 “Outstanding” which would compare with the past 5 years results.
