A young girl has been pulled to safety after an attempted suicide bid in Southport.
The teenager was pulled back as she tried to jump from a bridge overlooking the railway line near to the Blue Anchor pub in Southport this evening.
Staff from shops nearby and passers by rushed to her aid and grabbed the girl pulling her to safety.
She was taken to Southport hospital by police officers to be assessed for injuries she received when being dragged back from the bridge.
OTS understands she is now being given skilled medical mental health support.
