Heartless thieves have stolen Christmas cheer from a family in Southport after making off with two brand new bikes.
Two teenage boys had their beloved bikes stolen ‘right out of their hands’ in the middle of the street by unidentified robbers.
Now friends of the family have launched a crowdfunding campaign to find £600 to replace them in time for Christmas.
Friend Kelly Gilboy said “On Monday 4th December, two young boys Lewis and Ethan had their bikes stolen by the local Southport scum of the earth. Both of these bikes were new and both of these boys are devastated to have had their beloved bikes stolen. One was stolen from Christ the king school and one was stolen from dobbies while some of the group of scum distracted one of the boys.
Now I know it’s near Xmas and people have their own commitments but I’m asking all of you to dig deep to try and get enough money to replace the bikes of these boys.
This has happened in our town of Southport and I feel as a community we could all pull together and put a smile back on these boys faces in time for Xmas.”
