Hampton Road thief holds shopkeeper at knifepoint

Horrifying CCTV footage shows the moment a terrified Southport shopkeeper was robbed at knifepoint.

Mihindukulasuriya Roshan has shared footage of the moment his staff were attacked at knifepoint by an unidentified male wearing a face covering and grey tracksuit on Hampton Road.

Footage shows the male assailant calmly walking into the corner shop while brandishing a knife and demanding cash from the terrified cashier.

The entire terrifying ordeal lasted just under a minute and police were immediately called in to investigate.
