The Hairy Bikers arrived in Southport as they called in to enjoy a royal street party to celebrate The Queen’s 90th birthday, Sunday 12 June 2016
OTSNews.co.uk can now reveal when the street party will be shown on television.
Jonathan Cunningham MBE, and family organisers of the Crosby Road Royal Street Party said: “We can’t wait for September 6th – another opportunity to get family and friends around and enjoy one of the best Royal events ever!
“We are now regarded as one of the “most royal” streets in the country, and there’s another event planned for 2017.”
On the day the ‘Hairy Bikers’ – Dave Myers and Simon ‘Si’ King joined 650 party goers at Crosby Road, as they were filmed at the event for their new BBC TV series.
Dave and Simon made and handed out sandwiches to guests, and judged a royal cake competition.
The celebration was organised by Jonathan Cunningham and saw hundreds of people turning the road red white and blue.
