Golfer splices CAR as he overshoots drive

A golfer at Formby Hall saw his game get off to the worst start after his drive went off course.

Unfrotunately for him it was his car that went into the rough when he lost of control and drove it into a ditch along the entrance to Formby Hall.

A sign has been placed on the windscreen to stop concerned passers by reporting the crash.

They are waiting for a recovery truck to arrive later this afternoon.
