Police have caught a geriatric shoplifter red handed after attempting to raid a charity shop this morning, Monday 27 November 2017.
The fast fingered pensioner, thought to be well over 80 years old, was caught reliving an excitable youth as shocked charity Shop staff saw him brazenly attempt to shoplift a number of old and bargain bin price books from a charity shop near to Costa Coffee on Lord Street.
The pensioner has now been taken to Copy Lane police station for questioning.
