Photo: Southport Skatepark  Merseyside police are following a number separate incidents of assault during the Southport Musical Firework Championships last weekend, Saturday 3 October 2015. In one incident it is alleged that a teenager from Southport was left needing hospital treatment after having his ear slashed with a blade. Marrier attended the event on the Saturday and said: “Youths were running around like animals, the atmosphere was very hostile around the skatepark. My children wanted to leave because of this”.
