Emergency services rushed to a house in Southport following a partial collapse this morning.
Fire crews were dispatched to Old Park Lane just before midday after the gable end of a semi-detached house partly collapsed.
The family inside, along with their neighbours, immediately evacuated after two layers of brickwork fell away from the property.
Thankfully, it is believed that no one was injured, but the damage has left a significant hole in the side of the house, exposing the loft space.
Fire services have cordoned off the pavement and the affected gable, although the road remains open to traffic.
