Furious voters demand a general election recount

Furious politicians gutted by Southport’s storming Tory victory say they are demanding a recount in the spirit of the brexit referendum.

The tongue in cheek comments made by local labour activists come as Damien Moore stormed to victory as the town’s incumbent Conservative MP.

OTS has received messages from a Southport labour activist who remarked “We campaigned for a people’s vote on brexit so now we’re looking for a people’s vote on the general election because it’s not right. Tactical voting let us down and when you count the amount of votes that came in, it suggests that there is more people voting for Labour and Lib Dem than there is for the lying Tory party.

It’s a disgrace.”
