Funeral arrangements for Carl Lake

The funeral of a man who went missing for months in Southport and gripped the town will take place next week.

Carl Lake will be laid to rest surrounded by family and friends at Thornton crematorium at 2pm next Friday.

His daughter Louise Gilbert said she would like mourners to wear red to reflect Carl’s support of Liverpool.

Carl disappeared early in 2018 sparking a town wide manhunt for the grandfather, originally from Liverpool, but it was not until late in the year he was sadly discovered in Banks having passed away.The funeral of a man who went missing for months in Southport and gripped the town will take place next Friday.
