Will Ferrell gives seal of approval to Cake Corner

Hollywood superstar Will Ferrell has revealed his love of a popular Southport confectioner.

The A List movie star, who is currently in the UK, was presented with a sweet treat made by the team at Cake Corner Southport.

They are already hugely popular in the region with stores in Hillside, Southport Market and Ormskirk Market.

However staff at Cake Corner were left bowled over today after one of their customers, who works for the Premier League, gifted Ferrell a cake which he had brought all the way from Southport.

He ate a Kinder Millionaire Shortbread and happily posed for photos with the treat, saying it was delicious.

A Cake Corner spokesperson said “What an unbelievable moment this was for us today

“The man himself Will Ferrell has tried our kinder Millionaire shortbread and he loved it & honestly still doesn’t feel real!

“I did tear up this morning when I seen this pictures. Thank you so much to one of our lovely customers who got the chance to meet Will and gave him one of our cakes.”
