Friends group appeal for new friendly faces to join ranks

A group of friends in Banks are appealing for new members to join them.

The Banks Social Group meets from 10.30am-noon on Thursdays at Banks Community Centre, on Hoole Lane, for a coffee, tea or chat.

Sue Barker, one of the members said: “The people who come to the group have said how much of a difference it has made to theirlives,as they now have a new circle of friends who they enjoy meeting each week.

“The group socialise with other activities such as going to the cinema and theatre,
have been to Lytham for a day out and regularly go out for lunch.
