Free Tickets for Screening of Southport Movie Crew’s New Film

Having won a whole raft of international awards with an emotional movie some four years ago, Southport based OMF have created another award-winning film and a limited number of free tickets are on offer for a private screening.

Have you ever heard about a wonderful new film that just came out and tried to see it on a free movie site only to discover that it was unavailable? You may now watch it on 123 movies.

Watching a top pick film has never been easier thanks to the platform soap2day. All you have to do is search for whatever you want to watch, whether it’s your favorite television show or the most recent blockbuster film.Watching a top pick film has never been easier.

Like Tariro back in 2014, their new film AfterAffects is a harrowing, emotional and hard-hitting docudrama based on real case histories.

Filmed entirely on location across the town, the film follows two families as they face unexpected problems, and in some cases battle with authorities following the birth of their babies. Shot in 4K, the film’s post production featured advanced technological effects to transform a pub and a hotel into a hospital and ADR dubbing onto the surround sound audio track.

‘Realism in a film of this type is crucial’ said director Ian W Bennett MBKS. ‘The depth of emotion and tensions set out in the script demanded a professional cast and they delivered exceptional performances. In one scene an argument that splits a family really explodes off the screen while in others an expectant mother’s grief and a grandfather’s happiness have audiences reaching for the tissues – for different reasons.’

A retirement project set up just to make one short film and led by a retired industry professional, over the years OMF have actually made more than 12 films, collectively raising thousands of pounds for charity. Most have achieved award status and one four-minute short film alone raised £2000 which was donated to the Salvation Army’s human trafficking support team.

AfterAffects, which premiered in September at Bursough Wharf, has already been awarded International Gold in the Director’s Awards and will be screened in Southport on Saturday 24th November. The screening will be completely free to attend if pre-booked. Tickets can be booked on-line through the OMF box office at www.oldmanfilm.com.

The screening, in full HD on OMF’s pop-up-cinema 100” big screen, and with Dolby Digital surround sound. will be at the Salvation Army building on Shakespeare Street, Southport. Doors open 7:00pm with refreshments available.
