Fox and Goose close to return with first event confirmed

Southport’s popular Fox and Goose pub is close to a return with the new owners revealing that a reopening date has been confirmed internally.

While the opening date has not been publicly revealed, the Fox and Goose Facebook Page is advertising an ACDC Experience night on Sunday 29th August.

The Fox is also advertising for staffing positions, with interested candidates asked to email foxsouthport@gmail.com

The Fox and Goose has been closed for 3 years, most recently closing it’s doors in 2018. Planning applications to turn the building into housing were rejected until the property was purchased by Hasan Akdeniz, who owns several property management companies and Southport Food Centre on Nevill Street.

The pub has confirmed that its famous Saturday Rock Nights will return, and bands hoping to play are asked to contact the venue.
