Formby house fire victim named as John McLeod

Police have identified a Formby pensioner who died in a house fire last month.

John MacLeod, who was 65-years-old, sadly died at his home on Holmwood Drive on Tuesday 3 January.

Emergency survived were unable to save him despite rushing to the property just before 11pm.

There are no suspicious circumstances.
