Formby bypass gridlock following crash

Formby bypass is gridlocked after a serious crash southbound near to the Red Squirrel Pub.

The smash southbound on the bypass near to the former Weld Blundell site has brought traffic to a standstill after two cars collided with each other just after 11am this morning.

The bypass has been reduced to one lane and paramedics struggled to get to the crash after heavy traffic caused a major backlog.
