Forge restaurant building up for sale

A once thriving steakhouse in Southport Town Centre is finally up for sale.

The Forge steak and seafood restaurant closed down at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 and never reopened.

Signs outside the venue still advertise a 2020 Mother’s Day menu and regulars were hopeful that the restaurant would reopen after easing of restrictions.

But despite government funding, the Forge didn’t reopen and has remained closed ever since.

Now estate agents are marketing the venue on Queen Anne Street for sale.

The property will be sold at auction, with a guide price of £300,000.
