A local football league have scored big in a fundraiser for the Southport Lifeboat Crew.
The fiftieth anniversary dinner of the Southport & District amateur football league raised an impressive £1000 to be split between the Southport Offshore Rescue Trust and Queenscourt Hospice.
Gifts were auctioned off in memory of 2 Committee members who passed away earlier this year, Derrick Ramsden and Alan ‘Ces’ Cropper, who previously had nominated their chosen charities.
