Floods strike again as hospital hit by flash rain
More floods have struck parts of Southport this time putting lives at risk at Southport hospital.
Storm drains have burst their pipes at full capacity after heavy rain continues to batter Southport over the last 24 hours.
Part of Southport hospital car park has been closed off and visitors to the hospital on Town Lane are having to traverse a deep lake of water to get access to the hospital.
It is also causing difficulty for ambulances to turn around and head to other emergencies
