Fitness lovers in Southport will take on a gruelling three hour exercise bootcamp later this month to raise thousands for the Elsie Dot Story.
Elsie tragically lost her life in the July 2024 Southport attacks alongside Bebe King and Alice Aguiar.
Eight other children and two adults were also seriously injured that day.
Now Elsie’s parents have launched the Elsie Dot Story, a charitable trust they say will help to continue Elsie’s legacy and love of helping others.
Elsie’s parents said ”We want to continue Elsie’s ‘story’; her positivity, love for others and energy of life.“
On Saturday, 23rd November, clients from Transform Ladies Fitness Southport will push themselves to the limit in a 3-Hour Bootcamp Charity Challenge to raise funds for Elsie’s Story.
With a goal of raising £5000, participants will take on an intense fitness session including legs workouts, arms workouts, high-intensity cardio, circuits, HIIT, and more.
Mark, the owner of Transform, expressed his commitment to the initiative, saying, “This challenge is about more than fitness. It’s about coming together as a community and making a difference for a cause that’s close to all our hearts.
“Elsie’s Story will be supporting families, healthcare, and community projects, and every donation will make a tangible impact.”
Donations can be made through the JustGiving page at https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/transformsthreehourbootcamp?utm_term=dgJ7ENZvm.
The event kicks off at 9am and will run until 12pm at Transform Ladies Fitness. Participants are encouraged to wear fancy dress to add a light-hearted element to the rigorous workout.
