Fantastic A Level results day at KGV

16th August 2019

We have loved celebrating with our 2019 students this morning as they have joined us to collect their A Level and BTEC results. It has been emotional, nail biting and full of excitement as they discovered where all their hard work will now lead them. Here are just a few highlights…

Jasmine King was delighted with her results, which included an A* and is now off to her first choice, Lancaster University to study Marketing.

Kevin Qu is off to the University of Liverpool after achieving A A B

Callum Grady was thrilled to achieve a Triple Distinction in his BTEC and is about to embark on a business course with the Prince’s Trust. What an exciting opportunity!

There was double joy for the Crossley family, where twins Hannah and Eleanor both achieved fantastic results and are now set to follow very different paths to each other for the first time!

Caris Dixon has achieved B B C and is going to Edge Hill University to study Sociology and Criminology. Her proud mum had this to say: “During my daughter’s two year journey at KGV College, I need to express how amazing the college, the principal and all the staff have been during this time. The support and encouragement has been truly outstanding. I would recommend KGV to any school leaver, it provides person centred care in all areas, everyone is an individual, respected and as I have said earlier, supported. Thank you so much”

Tom Lawson is now proudly heading to the Leeds College of Music after achieving a fantastic A B B and a Distinction*. Congratulations Tom!

And Becca Murray was delighted to achieve 3 A’s and is now off to the University of Liverpool.

There were many many more happy stories and we wish all our 2019 students a wonderful future.
