Fans urged to back amateur Southport side as they aim for cup glory

An amateur football team from Southport are aiming for cup success this Monday at the fourth time of asking.

Southport & Ainsdale Saturday Seniors face off against Milton First FC in the Bluefin Lancashire Amateur Cup final this coming Monday night at a 7.30 kick off.

The game will be held at the Leyland fa county ground, PR25 2LF, and fans are invited to attend, making it one of the first times the team will have played infront of a bumper crowd for nearly a year.

No team has won the trophy from southport but S&A have been to the final 3 times in the past 12 years, having been beaten at the last hurdle.

Gates open 6.30pm. Adults £6 and Children £3
