Family pay tribute to man killed in Maghull RTC

The family of a man who passed away following a road traffic collision in Maghull have today, Friday 28th December, paid tribute to him.

Keith Duckworth, 65, was injured following a collision involving a silver Ford Focus Zetec car at the entrance to the car park of the Coach and Horses public house on Liverpool Road North at 6.40pm on Thursday 20th December.

Mr Duckworth, who is from the Maghull area, was taken to hospital but sadly died on Christmas Eve, Monday 24th December.

His family today said: “Keith lived life the way he wanted to. He was a big part of our family and we are all devastated.

“Keith went for a pint in his local pub. Never did we think he wouldn’t return home. He was a very much loved husband, dad and grandad, brother and friend and we are going to miss him.”

Mr Duckworth’s family is being supported by a family liaison officer.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is continuing to help with enquiries.
