Woodlands – Family Fun Day: Bring your family to meet the Woodlands Animal Sanctuary family

Woodlands Animal Sanctuary’s Family Fun Day is fast approaching – an action packed day aimed at raising much needed funds for the animal rescue charity.  This year an extended day from 10:30 until 4:30, with the season’s championship dog show, family games, dog, reptile and bird displays, on site magic not to mention all the animals you can meet and greet on the day.  From the sanctuary residents, of hedgehogs and guinea pigs up to the horses and visiting huskies and alpacas.  You can feast on the very popular BBQ or enjoy a treat from the vegan and veggie stalls, before you entertain yourself and your family by having a go on the climbing wall and adventure cave, or test your accuracy with archery and shooting before testing your luck on a variety of stalls and family games.

The Woodlands Animal Sanctuary family really do aim to provide your family with a friendly, informative and most importantly enjoyable day out that you will all enjoy. You can enjoy spending precious quality time with your family and friends knowing that you are helping the Woodlands Animal Sanctuary family to continue their outstanding work to help rescue, rehabilitate and either rehome or release sick, injured and abandoned animals.

Unlike some families no-one escapes the hard work and preparations at the sanctuary and set up is well under way.  From the charity’s founding family, to their spouses and friends, to staff and their parents, and all the charity trustees, everyone is drafted in to create the magic that is Woodlands Animal Sanctuary Family Fun Day.  So why not bring your family, to meet the Woodlands family, add your little bit of love and luck into the draw to help even more animals receive the life changing TLC everyone who is a part of Woodlands shows on a daily basis.
