The family of a vulnerable Southport man are pleading for help to find him safe and well.
Michael ‘Mike’ Dowling hasn’t been seen by friends or family since Monday and those close to him say he had ‘a very fragile state of mind’ leading up to his disappearance.
Residents are being asked to keep an eye out for Michael, who is 6ft 2 and has short brown hair, and to call 101 immediately if they believe they have spotted him.
Michael’s sister in law Rachel said the family will be eternally grateful for any help which leads to Michael being found safe and well.
Merseyside Police have been informed and are understood to have joined in the efforts to locate Michael, however at the time of going to press there are no fresh leads as to his whereabouts.
Michael, a Liverpool fan, may still be in the Southport area but his family are asking for people to share their appeal as far and wide as possible to increase their chances of finding him.
