A pet-loving family are in bits after their beloved budgie made a daring escape from a Southport home today.
The beautiful blue and white budgie, Rosie, managed to escape from a home on Part Street in Southport yesterday and has sadly not been seen since. It’s thought Rosie may have managed to escape through a window that had been left open upstairs.
Rosie’s owner told OTS: “He will respond to a rattle noise in anticipation of being fed. We have their feed in a glass jar and if we tap it with a spoon they will fly to the area we have placed the food.
“We have another budgie, Nutty, and they are inseparable, he’s ok and still with us.”
Anyone with any information on Rosie’s whereabouts is asked to call 07715 489544
