Southport families are being invited to enjoy a free and fun Spooky Film Night next week.
Southport Community Centre is hosting the event for families and young children at its Norwood Road HQ in the town from 5.30pm onwards on Tuesday 31st October.
Organisers are promising to provide some special ‘creepy music’ before showing the Walt Disney classic Hocus Pocus on the big screen starting at 6pm.
Families will also be able to enjoy free refreshments in the form of healthy home-made burgers and fairy cakes provided by the centre’s Brighter Living Snack Bar (although donations are always welcome).
And there will also be face painting for younger members of the audience, courtesy of
Helen’s Fantasy Faces.
Southport Community Centre Manager, Philip Blocksidge, commented: “We’ve designed this event as a fun alternative for families who who aren’t keen on being out on the streets on Mischief Night.
“It will be a great way for them to get into the spirit of things, and celebrate the event in a safe and friendly environment.”
Although this is a free event it is ticketed because places are limited. For tickets ring
