Expensive bike abandoned in Birkdale

Residents of a leafy suburb of Birkdale are appealing for anyone who may have forgotten where they secured their bike to get in touch.

A golden yellow Scorpion Awe has been safely chained to a lamppost on a Birkdale Street for three days now with nobody as yet coming forward to reclaim it.

Residents are hoping the bike is reunited with its owner soon due to its price
