Birchall Blackburn Law announces the expansion of the leasehold enfranchisement team with newly-qualified solicitor Anna Nodwell.

BLACKBURN LAW is delighted to announce Anna Nodwell qualified as a solicitor on the 1st March 2019. The leasehold enfranchisement team has expanded as a result of this, meaning the law firm’s specialist property team continues to move from strength to strength.

Anna completed her BA in Law and the Legal practice Course at Liverpool John Moores University. She joined Birchall Blackburn Law as part of the Conveyancing Support team in the Preston office in 2015. Anna then moved onto become our Specialist Property Assistant in the Leyland branch. Anna Nodwell commented, “I’m grateful to Birchall Blackburn Law for giving me the opportunity to carry out my training with them and that I am excited to continue you my career in such a niche area of law and to continue to develop my specialism within our Specialist Property – Leasehold Enfranchisement team.”

Jane Lockwood, Partner at Birchall Blackburn Law, said: “Anna is a highly valued member of the Specialist Property team. Throughout her training, Anna gained experience of residential lease extensions (voluntary and statutory), collective enfranchisement, building conversions with the creation of new leases, leasehold developments, freehold purchases (voluntary and statutory).  Anna has also assisted with applications to the First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) and to the County Court.
