Ex tourist building is anything but an attraction say residents.

Heritage groups are furious that another iconic building in Southport has been left to rot.

The former tourist information centre and ex Remedy bar has been shut for months and ugly iron railings surround it.

The building has been empty since Remedy Gin Bar upgraded to the Diana Gardens cafe opposite, leaving it unoccupied.

Whoever owns the building has since whitewashed the windows and fenced off the building so nobody can get in.

Various Heritage groups in Southport have contacted OTS News to voice their disgust that the landmark building has been left in such a state and are urging its owner to do something about it before it gets worse.
