Everything you need to know about the Crafty Vintage at Cedar Farm this weekend.
This Summer marks the 30th Anniversary of Cedar Farm and the founders are collaborating with Crafty Vintage to celebrate.
Cedar Farm was originally a working pig farm. It has grown organically under the wing of the Baillie family to become a spectacular emporium of independent shops, studios for makers, a café, coffee roastery, a hub for courses, an animal farm and play areas for children.
A fabulous free family festival will be held at the farm on the 19th and 20th of August.
The pig barn will be filled to the rafters with an eclectic mix of vintage, retro wares, collectibles, creative crafts and artisan food from some of the finest collectors, makers and creators in the land.
Streetfood, a pop up cocktail bar, live entertainment, summer jazz, dj’s on vinyl along with circus workshops and magic shows will fill the farm and ensure that there is something for all the family to enjoy.
Saturday will have a later closing time till 8pm.
Peter Baillie who owns the farm said “We are all looking forward to this fantastic free event which will be produced by events company Crafty Vintage. We want everyone to come along and enjoy the farm in all its glory. We asked Crafty Vintage to help us as we wanted to do something special to help us celebrate being at the farm for 30 years.”
Cedar Farm is located in the peaceful and rurally atmospheric village of Mawdesley, just 15 minutes from junction 27 of the M6, not far from the surrounding towns of Ormskirk and Chorley.
