A die hard Eurovision fan from Birkdale has lost £3000 after betting on the UK to win in Israel.
Phil Tilbrook put blind faith in Michael Rice to finally win the song contest for the UK but after finishing dead last in the voting, Phil had to face the music and his angry wife after betting £3,000 online.
His wife emailed OTS news to name and shame him, joking “it’s his money to lose so he has to face the music.
”If he can spend that much on Eurovision he must be mad.”
