Enforcement officers crack down on tables outside boundaries
Enforcement officers are being slated for fining multiple Lord Street restaurants after its tables and chairs were found outside its boundaries.
There’s strict rules issued by Sefton Council to cafe and restaurant owners not to obstruct the highway and pavement, however eagle eyed enforcement officers have warned the owners of five different restaurants for having their tables over the designated area and overspilling into an unregulated part of Lord Street.
A post is now circulating warning other restaurant owners to be on the look out and make sure they stay on side at risk of being handed a hefty fine. One eye witness to the debacle told OTS News “Southport needs to clear out of Sefton before its too late”
