Emergency services in Southport following domestic incident

POLICE are investigating after a report of a domestic-related incident in Southport this morning (Wednesday 12 June 2019).

A report was received at 7.55am that a bag of clothes had been set alight on High Park Road.

It is believed the clothes had partially burned, but the fire had gone out before the attendance of emergency services.

Police, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and North West Ambulance Service attended.

No one has been reported as being injured during the incident and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
