A garden centre shopper was left rooted to the spot after staff accidentally locked her inside their store at the end of the day.
Police and fire crews were eventually called after a shocking three hour wait for a Southport woman who became trapped in Dobbies Garden Centre, Kew this evening.
Green fingered Glynis Rogers was pottering around the outdoor garden section of Dobbies Southport this evening when she found herself completely locked in.
Glynis had been alerted to the store closing by tannoy but by the time she made it to the adjoining interior doors she was stunned to find them locked up.
Unable to raise the alarm with any members of staff, Glynis took to social media to share her ordeal.
Police and fire crews were eventually called after calls to Dobbies helplines and security officers failed to yield any help.
Despite security officers saying they would call a key holder, nearly three hours passed without any sign of help and Glynis was forced to call 999.
