Emergency responders raise hundreds for equipment

Community first responders have held an impromptu street party in Southport for the royal wedding, raising over £900 for new emergency equipment.

Community first responders Ed, Scott and Jonathan helped raise £915 for brand new potentially life saving equipment during a part in Crosby Road, Birkdale on Saturday.

During the event two of the responders were called to help an elderly Male on nearby Lord Street which showed just how important they are to assisting the emergency services.

Organiser Jonathan Cunningham has thanked all those who attended and raised the final amount
