DVLA eager to clampdown on demolished car ruins

The DVLA are out in force this week clamping down on uninsured cars around Southport.

The clampdown has been so severe that even a clearly abandoned and half dismantled Skoda has been targeted on the bridge near to Norwood Road junction.

One witness said: “a vehicle has been clamped by the DVLA on the bridge on Norwood road junction.

“The only thing is it’s has been stripped of all it’s parts. I witnessed the man doing it so vehicle is now abadoned looking like wreck!”
